in all seriousness, THE RESCUE was a resounding success in phoenix. we raised close to 5k, got rescued by steve-o, turned in more than 6000 letters to our political leaders, garnered a huge amount of media attention, and - finally - bonded with others who shared our same cause.

even though we were awoken at three in the morning by sprinklers watering the university (and consequently, us) and found out just how cold this desert city does get at night, we helped somebody. and tomorrow morning, we'll be calling the eleven remaining cities to help them too.

congratulations to everyone who participated in the event, be it in phoenix, or wherever. we truly helped, you guys. to chicago: keep standing strong, re-enforcements are on their way. to the other cities waiting: the same can be said for you.
